Ryan Plastics has recently purchased new CAD software to enable the company to offer customers a more comprehensive design and prototype facility. Several thousand pounds has been spent on acquiring a system which will allow clients to see the production screen prior to manufacturing, thus saving costly changes during the pre-production stage. This is a full 3d parasolid seat and is fully compatible with our current range of CAD/CAM sofware that currently accompanies the CNC machinery in our workshops. The company recently invested several thousand pounds in upgrading our CAD/CAM Software. AlphaCam is our preferred supplier and we now have the very latest 3D package to enable our 5 Axis Machining Centre to work at full potential. Dave Reed the company’s Senior Engineer attended a four day course to familiarise himself with the changes.

Ryan Plastics had their annual NQA assessment on the 22nd of August and passed with no problems. This accreditation (BS EN ISO 9001 : 2000) is important to our business and to our customers, some who insist we are registered.
