P.T.F.E is the most popular of the fluropolymers.
P.T.F.E suffers high elastic deformity under load which reduces it's effectiveness
for bearing applications. It can be filled however, to allow it to be used
for more demanding applications. Filled P.T.F.E is not suitable for food
contact and should be used where increased hardness, creep resistance, and
a lower wear rate are needed.
