CNC MACHINING

All forms of CNC equipment have two or more directions of motion, called axes, enabling automatic, precise, and consistent motion control. At Ryan Plastics we have 3-axis and 5-axis CNC routing and CNC turning and milling machines. The first benefit of CNC machining is consistent and accurate output. Our machines possess unbelievable accuracy and repeatability specifications. This means that once a program is verified, any number of identical pieces can be produced with the same precision and consistency.

The Control System

A second benefit offered by CNC machining is flexibility. Since these machines are run from programs, running a different piece of work is as easy as loading a different program. Once a program has been verified and executed for one production run, it can be easily recalled the next time the piece is to be run, enabling a fast turnaround of output. Because of the simple set-up and operation process, work output is processed at an extremely fast rate. This is imperative with today's just-in-time production requirements.
Another benefit offered by all forms of CNC machine tools is improved automation. The need for an operator to intervene or oversee the machining process is virtually eliminated. Both of our CNC machines can run unattended during their entire machining cycle, freeing the operator to do other tasks. This gives the CNC user several side benefits including reduced operator fatigue, fewer mistakes caused by human error, and consistent and predictable machining time for each piece resulting in a higher and more efficient productivity rate.
The economies of scale and improved quality of output which arises from the accumulated benefits of CNC machining means that the customer is assured that they are receiving a service that is quality, reliable, and has added value.
